Moth the fox and Brit the opossum are two 20-something queers in a Northeast suburban town. Ronnie Thorn was just like them, though his life was mysteriously cut short with the rumored cause being the Cave of Undying, a cave deep in the nearby woods that supposedly shows the true afterlife to any who enter. No one knows if it's real, and venturing out to find it is a dangerous endeavor. But Moth and Brit want to try, the fox motivated by the desire to prove his judgmental religious father wrong, and the opossum dedicated to do something big and daring with her best friend before she moves to the city with her girlfriend...all in hopes to see what Ronnie saw and make it back alive.
