The Rise and Fall of Leon House

Split into two sections, this novel is the beginning of the grand saga. The first part taking place on just another day, it follows Leon House and his friends around while they try to tolerate the daily tortures of school, though an insidious accident soon occurs and changes things forever. Section two takes place approximately a year later, when Leon's become much more antagonistic against the world, all made as a result of his physical disability resulting from the incident, and also from an increasing drug habit. When a murder in the town leaves police team baffled, Leon takes the case out of sheer boredom, though it soon becomes apparent that there's much more than meets the eye in this situation.
