About the little blue bird who didn’t like to fly

This is a very short and lovely tale set in the vast landscape of South Africa. A little blue bird falls out of her nest and hurts her wing. She thinks she can’t fly until she makes friends with a tall as a tree giraffe and goes through a series of adventures that result in a happy ending: The little blue bird can fly after all. It is a story of friendship between two very different animals, which leads them to become part of their own kind too. Playfully the reader learns that we can achieve whatever we like, we just need to be courageous enough to take the first step.
