Julian Claxton is a freelance photographer based in East Anglia in the UK.
His work has featured in numerous publications throughout the UK and he is known for his creative and original style of photography.
Life with the air ambulance was the second solo exhibition of Julian's.
For 18 months I have been given access to Anglia One, the air ambulance of the East Anglian Air Ambulance charity, joining the crew on their daily routines. One moment enjoying a cup of tea and in the next breath landing in a field in the pouring rain, hot footing it to the scene of an incident.
Throughout this book you will experience life as part of Anglia One, where I have recorded just how determined, skilled and passionate the crew are. Many of the photographs observe the pressures of life working as part of the emergency services, where time is of the
essence. You will join the crew on their daily routines and
experience the highs, the lows and those times when words simply mean very little.
