Now that we live in a Global Village there is a real possibility that we can run out of Earth... Originally published in 1986, this set of 7 poems considers our awareness of finite resources in terms of our planet and ourselves. Against a backdrop of the cold war, cruise missiles, animal testing and vivisection, environmental disasters at Chernobyl and Bhopal, they call for a personal commitment to responsibility and action.
