The purpose of this doctoral thesis study was to examine the past and present ministry experiences of trailing spouses of evangelical mission agency leaders in North America, to determine whether they are a well-stewarded commodity or a lost resource in mission. Through in-depth qualitative interviews representing various evangelical denominational and interdenominational mission agencies, for the first time ever these spouses were given an official voice to speak to the evangelical mission community.
