Solomon says in Proverbs that charm is deceptive. That means people look at a charming and beautiful person and then they make assumptions which often turn out to be inaccurate. They never consider the possibility that the person are only looking out for their own selfish interests and when the situation no longer suit them, they move on. This has happened many times in Biblical history.
