The Art Club Activity Book

A tool kit to support teachers and parents who want to introduce art classes or activities to children, but do not know where to start or how to keep themselves inspired to run an art group or do an art session with confidence. Teachers and parents usually have skill and knowledge in craft, but limited skill in technical drawing or painting. These skills are only introduced to young adults when they start college. The activities have step by step pictures to follow as a guide line, but will teach children how to improve, adapt and even come up with new ideas when doing the activities. In most schools children are told to 'just draw' what they see. This creates many problems of low self esteem and confidence. Drawing and painting is a step by step process which when taught to children properly leaves them feeling they have accomplished and grown in drawing and painting.
