Dakhnī Oankār commentary by Mahant Ganeshā Singh Nirmalā.

The Srī Dakhnī Oankār is the prayer recited by Sikhs worldwide as part of their ‘Panj Granthī’ and was recited by the first Gurū, Srī Gurū Nānak Dev Jī. This prayer is not read as often as in previous years but Purātan Gursikhs used to recite this prayer daily as part of their daily routine. This commentary is very different. It is a commentary by the great Nirmalā scholar, Mahant Ganeshā Singh. Unlike other Nirmalās his commentaries are basic but the essence of the definitions is not lost within the simplicity. I wanted to provide both the original commentary in Gurmukhī along with a translation of the commentary. This is because this commentary has been out of print for a significant amount of time and to those seekers of the original commentary it is available again.
