Sheffield Flood The Victims P-Z

The Sheffield Flood is still the worst man-made disaster in English history and claimed the lives of over 300 people when the embankment of the Dale Dyke Reservoir collapsed on the night of 11th-12th March 1864 but it is a disaster that has been virtually forgotten. For the past few years I have been carrying our family history research about the lives of those unfortunate enough to die in this terrible event. I am hoping that by sharing the results of my research it will enable me to play my small part in helping to perpetuate the memory of these poor people.
