SEXTON’S LIST OF BURIALS CENTER CHURCH BURYING GROUND HARTFORD, CONNECTICUT

The record of the burials at the Center Church Burying Ground (also known as the Ancient Burying Ground) in Hartford, Connecticut for the years 1749 to 1806 was transcribed from the church sexton's list by Mary K. Talcott and published over several issues during 1898-1899 of the now-defunct "The Connecticut Magazine." Each entry shows the date of burial and individual's name. Many also provide additional information such as age at death, maiden name, relationships, baptism date and cause of death. The complete list was digitized and reformatted into a searchable list and is made available here. This is an amazing genealogical resource for anyone researching ancestors who lived in Hartford, Connecticut during the 18th and early 19th centuries.
