The letter-formatted handbook "20 Years of NetStamps Powered by Stamps.com (2002-2022)" has 193 pages, is in color, is written in English, depicts approximately 750 images, and lists all known NetStamps issues from Stamps.com. NetStamps from Stamps.com (SDC) were the first Internet postage stamps available to everyone in the US, when the United States Postal Service (USPS) approved NetStamps formally on July 17, 2002. The release of the handbook marks the 20th anniversary of NetStamps. According to Stamps.com, NetStamps labels combine the convenience of regular stamps with the flexibility of printing postage from your computer. NetStamps are therefore not dated and can be used anywhere in the US (including military post offices [MPOs] overseas) and any time after printing. After registration with Stamps.com online, customers must first purchase blank NetStamps labels (as sheets or rolls) from Stamps.com for shipment. Using PC-based software or the web browser application, consumers also need to buy postage online to fund the Stamps.com account. Using the designated sheets/rolls and choosing the denomination(s) desired, one can finally print NetStamps postage from one's PC using Stamps.com software or through the web browser along with a printer. This handbook lists all known NetStamps issues since July 2002, which mainly include regular NetStamps (original or themed NetStamps) and the popular Photo (later Custom) NetStamps that allowed patrons to create their personalized postage. Sadly, they were discontinued on June 15, 2020 due to a USPS decision. Besides, readers can find information on the promotional, beta test, and Designs-on-Demand NetStamps that were printed via a web-enabled HP printer without a computer. The final chapters cover NetStamps previously used by Stamps.com for mailing along with those from Endicia (one of the original PC Postage providers that was acquired by Stamps.com on November 18, 2015), as well as Avery® Stamps from Avery that were printed using a Stamps.com account.
