As the Earth Spins: The Drama Continues picks up where the first book left off. Tyreke Maxey now lives in Florida, where he is a stand-in news anchor for the anchorwoman who is on maternity leave. He has hopes of possibly making a permanent life for himself in Florida, but he must realize that he cannot escape the troubles and drama that he left behind at home.
