Kristeen thought she was a normal person, just like everyone else, but on the night of her thirteenth birthday, something amazing happened. Knowing, now, that she was a descendant of royalty, Kristeen and her best friend Edward set off for the Crystal Palace to claim their rights to the throne. However, they do not set off for that purpose alone. A darkness has overcome their realm and only the completion of a quest lasting 5,000 days will destroy it.
