Cleo Johnson struggles not just with love and relationships, but with reality. Set modern day the story involves drama, sadness and maliciousness. Cleo goes to university at eighteen very reluctantly at first. She is very used to home comforts and has never even used a washing machine, let alone bought her own food shopping. Things soon turn around for her, or so she thinks, when she meets a group of people who change her life forever.
She is betrayed and she is also the betrayer, which eventually results in an unplanned pregnancy. This of course forces her life on an unexpected but fulfilling journey of self discovery.
This book is basically a comedy which deals with very contempory issues and reflects the experiences of the modern woman. It does have a lot of drama to and sadness but hopefully it will be a very good read that will get you asking, whatever happened to Cleo Johnson?
Kate Ransom dutiful Mother of two and wife presents her first novel.
