Katherine Lashley writes in everything from poetry to fiction to creative nonfiction. She writes in her fantasy series about Lataria: The History of Lataria, and Lamia. She also writes and researches in autism. Her memoir, My Younger Older Sister: Growing Up With An Older Autistic Sister, covers several issues that siblings and autistics face, including school, career, friendships, and talents.
Katherine Lashley is a Ph.D. candidate in English at Morgan State University. Her dissertation analyzes issues such as gender and disability in young adult dystopias, such as The Hunger Games and Divergent. She teaches composition at several colleges and universities.
