About Kay Williams

During my 20's, I recovered memories of childhood trauma which changed everything for me. It added up to a very effective education about the structure of consciousness, acquired unconsciousness, and the way child maltreatment plays a role. Soon realizing that my childhood problems were not over, I turned to prayer for remedy. I was given inspiration to write Doorway Into Life. What came onto the page was from intelligence greater than my own, satisfied my yearning and gave me faith there is a way to turn the tide on the epidemic of childhood trauma. And, that better way is originally ingrained in us as human beings but becomes corrupted by breaks in consciousness. Circle of Safety, Circle of Friends came next, because I wanted a simpler and shorter way to share the ideas. My books describe how the many kinds of maltreatment fit the patterns of disease; and then show how we can structure community to be the intact social immune system. This book gives an entirely new way to interpret Christianity, a way that reconciles with science and equips us to truly heal ourselves. If you are not religious, don't let that dissuade you.
