Caer Leon Day of the Feud

ByKaylee Belli

In the chaotic times of the past, the world teemed with wondrous legends and tales of every kind. Stories passed down from mother to child of gallant knights slaying evil warriors and saving fair maidens to win their hearts; one saga forever remaining etched within the minds of those enraptured by its tale. In the land of Caer Leon, joyous events are about to bloom as the harvest days approach. King Arthur hosts a grand festival for peasant and noble alike to gather and join in the celebration from all over the kingdom, though such blissful times can be deceptive. For beneath the autumn burning trees a series of plots unfold; one person in particular caught in the middle. Born a peasant and raised by the gracious but harsh sheriff of the village, Anne Hardy had little choice but to work for him or be tossed back out into the streets. With tables turned and new found emotions rising, Anne was about to find this festival day to be one of the worst days of her life.
