Church growth is multifaceted. A church that pleases God must not be growing numerically at the expense of spiritual growth or vice versa. She must be growing in a balanced manner in six dimensions of church growth. For this to happen, the church must be healthy. A healthy church will naturally grow but Pastors and church workers must take responsibility for such health by doing things that guarantee church health and growth. Such responsibility requires hard work and skillful commitment. This is why church workers must be trained. The goal of this Training Manual is to open the eyes of church workers to this God-given responsibility. The Manual seeks to enhance your understanding of church health/growth and open your eyes to the indispensable roles you need to play in ensuring that your church, through sound health, is positioned for a balanced growth.
