The sidhe and unsidhe have been increasingly banished from the lands, but not all are willing to vanish entirely into their hills. One, Alexia Skraelug, an unsidhe vampire with work credentials from Britain's Fay Control Board, has been avoiding politics for years. Unfortunately the murders of his past are about to catch up with him in the form of Miss Elizabeth Grunwit, a young lady of society and his employer's niece. This is a novel touching upon light romance, occasional violence, and plenty of tea and cookies. 25 b&w illustrations.
