It has been ten years since the world was introduced to the DARK CURSE
. The sun does not shine, plants and trees do not grow and horrible creatures are turning up everywhere. This is the world that Sarah Hopkin, a quiet and unadventurous fourth grade teacher, lives in. That is, until she is called upon to travel back in time twenty years to her old, fourth grade self. Her mission: to find the person who cursed the world and stop it before it happens. An unusual journey unfolds as Sarah, a fourth grade teacher now in a fourth grader’s body, investigates the curse while trying to blend in as a schoolchild. Things get complicated when she meets young versions of her friends and finds that her young husband does not exactly get along with young Sarah. Can she save the world from darkness and stop the curse without accidentally changing the future too much?
