When Gwen left widowhood behind to marry widower Albert, she fully expected that her life would change course. Nothing, however, could have prepared her for returning home unexpectedly to find a naked stripper in her sitting room. Neither could she have anticipated her new husband, together with his septuagenarian friends from the British Legion, clearing the local shopping mall of yobs. Or, for that matter, burying the snobbish local golf club under a mountain, or founding a political party. All this, in the cause of proving that "late in life" doesn’t mean "gone into the sunset."
