Obedient in All Things - A Nehemiah Eight View of First Corinthians
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
(Free download) - Do we expect God to honor His ancient promises when we don't honor His ancient New Testament commands? 1 Corinthians is written to "know...whether ye be obedient in all things" (II Cor. 2:9) as Paul challenged their power (I Cor. 4:19). A Nehemiah 8 view means that currently ignored commands to the Church will be cherished once again, as happened with Israel coming out of captivity. Israel had not observed since Joshua the Lev 23:42-43 command to dwell in booths in the feast of the 7th month. The Church today has likewise ceased to obey numerous "commandments of the Lord" in 1 Corinthians. The reader is cordially invited to re-examine scripturally the application of 1 Corinthians’ instructions to the Body of Christ in the 21st century in context of an unbiased study on the relevance and scope of the Law.
