Denny Sophia McKinnon is a head-strong journalism student embarking on her last year of university. After an intense summer away and a confusing summer romance, Denny is determined to make her own path and choose her own future without the hindrance of boys, or falling in love. Things get complicated when Denny’s need to be in control of her emotions pushes her friends away and causes her to ignore and isolate herself from everyone, even herself. Despite her loyal friends-Dru, an aspiring actress, Suzanna the Wicca artist, and her close and confusing friendship with her best guy-friend James, Denny can't seem to trust anyone enough to let anyone in. With the pressure of exams, parties and personal relationships, will Denny come to her senses in time to repair the rift between her and her close friends? First she will have to accept that falling in love can’t, and shouldn’t be controlled and that growing up is a whole lot more complicated than it seemed.
