A Nauvoo Walk Down History Lane - Nauvoo Restoration 1975 to 2024
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
This book shows photos of Historic Nauvoo, Illinois. The town of Nauvoo was founded in 1839 by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the LDS people remained in Nauvoo until 1846. Since about 1950, restoration of many homes and shops of the early Saints has been ongoing. The book comes from a unique perspective of the author who was privileged to serve in Nauvoo as a "Young Missionary" in 1975 and again as a "Senior Missionary" in 2024. The book reflects the restoration efforts over that 50-year period.
