Treasures of Hope

This book is divided into three parts; Swahili, English and Kikuyu. Each part consists of 75 great poems composed under different Biblical settings. The poems were originally composed in Swahili and later translated into both English and Kikuyu. The original Swahili poems are designed using rhymes and equal syllables to make them easier to be used as lyrics. Most of the translated poems (English and Kikuyu) tend to copy the rhyming value. The Kikuyu poems are typed using the Agĩkũyũ dialect, making it easier for proper pronunciation.
