This AyurPermaVerse Coloring Book Series Intro is meant to introduce the users (suggested users ages 5-14 - but anyone can use it) to Botany, Ayurveda, and Permaculture by coloring the actual plants and sharing generic Ayurveda and Permaculture based information regarding those plants. The information shared is for STEAM enrichment purposes. This introductory book is the first of a series of books that will cover at least 200 plants, herbs, shrubs, trees that are used in Ayurveda for natural health purposes. Ayurveda is an ancient health medical science still practiced in India and being adopted in many parts of the world. Besides describing an Ayurvedic use for the plant it will also mention a related Permaculture insight. Permaculture is the science of design ecology. It helps teach about ecological resiliency from a very basic view point. The illustrations capture the essence of the philosophy behind Ayurveda and Permaculture's basic guidelines and principles. We expect these illustrations to be colored by inquisitive minds to be an introduction to these two important life sciences that will guide the users and inspire them to continue exploring these sciences that provide for overall well-being for ourselves, our communities and our environment. We encourage the guardians to participate with the young coloring hobbyists to fully engage in the knowledge attained through these coloring books. This AyurPermaVerse Coloring Book Series is meant to foster the imagination of the coloring hobbyists of a universe based on traditional, holistic, health and well being based principles found in Ayurveda and Permaculture.
