July, Letters from Jane

"July, Letters from Jane" is a series of letters, stories and poems from the perspective of a 76 year old woman, Grandma Jane. After her husband, July, leaves for a war in 1959, Grandma Jane begins to move on after she realizes he will not return home to her. In the process of her recovery, the home Grandma Jane and July built together burns down in a fire and Jane is forced to find a new place to live. Jane builds the courage to go back to her old home to clean up the things she left behind. Through a series of conversations with her granddaughter, witness Grandma Jane unravel from grief by sharing her lessons of love.
