Through the Valley

This third collection of Christian poetry from Pastor Kurt Reinhardt arises from his accompaniment of dear parishioners and friends “through the valley of the shadow of death” (Psalm 23). Paired with scriptural texts, photography, and icons, these words provide encouragement and comfort to those on the final stretch of their early pilgrimage. They may be proclaimed, prayed, pondered in the heart, or sung with the lips. A native of Ottawa and a graduate of Queen’s University in Kingston and Concordia Lutheran Theological Seminary in St. Catharines, Kurt E. Reinhardt has served since AD 1999 as pastor of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kurtzville, near Listowel, Ontario.
