Ten Dedicatory Pieces for Brass Sextet

Ten Dedicatory Pieces for Brass Sextet

ByKurt J. Ellenberger

Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
This is the complete score and parts for a brass sextet. The first five pieces are very utilitarian and may be characterized as “Gebrauchmusik.” There are two fanfares, a “meditation,” a chorale, and a “salutation”—basically music for use at various events. The last five movements are really a self-contained brass sextet of “concert music” based on a poem by Patricia Clark that may be read during or in between the movements (or the music can just be played as is of course). The first five are each about one minute in length, while the closing sextet is about 10 minutes in length. The last five are also available separately as "Spirit of the Place" for brass sextet. This bound copy is meant as a "library" copy; owners may photocopy parts and score for personal and educational use as needed.
