This anthology is a sequel to the author's earlier work "Ghanaian Politics Today." Like the latter, Okoampa-Ahoofe's "Selected Political Writings" brings together some of the critic-commentator's most memorable offerings on postcolonial Ghanaian politics, particularly the politics of Ghana's so-called Fourth Republic. Okoampa-Ahoofe's abiding theme regards the imperative need to make contemporary Ghanaian and African democratic culture work.
