Conflict is an adventure game designed for a setting of modern warfare, police special action, espionage, and near-future apocalypse. Its default setting is brutally realistic. New players will be surprised to find that without teamwork, good intelligence of the enemy, proper preparation, planning and some luck, their adventurers will quickly die. The successful will cover themselves in gory glory. It is, "old school" in style, seeing as it's a 48pp digest-sized B&W saddle-stitched book, with a 2d6 resolution mechanic, quick character generation with characters who can fit on an index card, an emphasis on teamwork, and high possible lethality. It also has cheesey movie quotes in it.
