This is a go-to collection of knowledge about breeding horses and the foaling of mares that cannot be found elsewhere. The book contains numerous color pictures of a horse giving birth and the signs of a mare about to give birth that are hard to obtain. The author searched, and did not find such a comprehensive set of photos like this anywhere else. It is easy to read, and simple to follow.
