Edward & Alice Dennis Family History Vol II - The Children
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
This document represents the second volume of the series and provides some historical perspective on Edward and Alice Dennis’s children as they grow up, get married and raise their families. There are six children: Annie, Arthur, Leslie, Laurence, Wilfrid and Harold. The first five were born in Ontario before the family moved out west to homestead near Cannington Manor, Saskatchewan. The sixth child was born while they farmed the homestead. Three of the sons, Leslie, Laurence and Wilfrid, saw action overseas in WWI and returned to start farming with the help of their parents. The children married and raised families of their own in Saskatchewan. A grandson continues to farm the original homestead. This document covers the period from the birth of the first child Annie in 1890 to the passing of their first son Arthur at the age of 96 in 1987.
