The Shape of Nothing chronicles the story of a young boy enduring the mental and physical hardships of World War II. As a result of his father dying in battle and his mother remarrying, he has an out of body experience which catapults him into the crazy world of the mind. Accompanied by some spider friends and a bothersome Inner Voice he embarks on an evolutionary journey of scientific discovery and psychological healing which leads him back to himself.
