Larry and Betty have spent most of a lifetime teaching in schools, large and small in Montana, Arizona and the USVI. In this volume Larry tells a series of short stories about life in a small farming community, Valier, Montana. It includes tales of people, (some strange) places, (lakes and stubble fields) experiences (some heart warming) and teachers learning from kids and parents. They like to say that coming from small farming/ranching towns themselves, it was rather like coming home.
