The Not So Ordinary People on the Roads I've Traveled

This interesting writing approach combines a personal memoir with the recognition of nearly 50 singles and couples of diverse backgrounds. Highlights are stories about the author and personal associations growing up on a Kansas farm, working in Vietnam during the 1960s as an agricultural volunteer and with the U.S. government, and an assortment of post-Vietnam jobs in this country. In the various settings of work, community and travel he writes about the positive character, accomplishments and peculiarities of not so ordinary individuals and his own experiences thereto. His poignant and sometimes humorous or emotional stories range from achievement to tragedy and cross the boundaries of learning, history, culture and values.
