Action for Children~Zambia

In 2005, Carol McBrady quit her job, sold her home and moved to the poverty-ridden African nation of Zambia to care for the neglected, abused and dying children living on the streets of Zambia. Her decision was the beginning of Action for Children~Zambia, an organization supporting Carol's work with the children living on the streets of Zambia. To date in 2011, Action for Children~Zambia supports children through providing safe homes, medical treatment, education scholarships, work placement programs, counseling and rehabilitation, outreach and crisis care. This book provides a glimpse into the lives of the children bring cared for by Action for Children~Zambia.
