The Redemption of Charles the Bold

This is the story of the redemption of Charles Valois, last Duke of Burgundy after the battle of Nancy. He must complete a series of tasks under the guidance of who Charles believes to be st. George. Among other things Charles must help to bring about the marriage of his daughter Mary to Maximilian of Austria to save Burgundy from the clutches of Louis XI of France. Spending periodic nights in Hell is a tormenting prerequisite to moving on and a price he is willing to pay for Redemption and going Home.
