This series of paintings are about celebrating women through the seasons of our lives and the seasons of the year. The maiden represents beginnings and youth. The mother represents the fullness of life and maturity, and the crone represents wisdom and the end of the cycle of life. I also wanted to represent the elements (earth, air, fire, water), with a little bit of magic and fantasy thrown in.
