Stories That Stuck With Me sandwiches one fiction story in between two stories about things that actually happened to me. The first story featured is a memoir about my memories in my high school swimming pool, titled “The Pool”. It spans over the time the pool opened when I was a freshman, to our conference championship my senior year. The next story, “My Sister, the Detective”, is a mystery story from the perspective of Molly, the younger sister of a world renowned detective, Shelby. Shelby had abandoned the family, but when the girls’ uncle is murdered, Shelby is drawn home to solve the mystery. The final story is about my first day in Germany on a spring break trip,”Trouble in Berlin”. This story captures the very real and chaotic things that happened within the first 24 hours in Berlin, Germany.
