One Child Abuse Survivor 2 Another: The Journey

Author Laurie Ann Smith has spoken publicly since 2009 about the Child Sexual Abuse-Incest she suffered as a child. This book is explicit and should be read in the manner it was meant to be construed. Laurie speaks truth, writes truth and believes that it is only by telling the truth, that we can stop and prevent child abuse and child sexual abuse. This book details the horrific abuse she endured by her adult older brother which caused her to be barren, to shut down in every way and to contemplate suicide for most of her life. It is her hope that this book will first of all, shed light on the issues of child sexual abuse as well as to be a beacon of hope for all survivors of child sexual abuse that they will reach out and get help and not be silenced anymore.
