Overture to Rain

In a land where it only rains every 19 years, a lone prisoner sits in a stone prison at the bottom of a valley. Rain brings life to the land but will mean death for him. As the rain begins, another prisoner is dropped into the cell next to him with too many questions and too much interest in him.
