"When the day grows old and the night-stars shine,
Away fades the glow of the last sun-filled line.
Then, once the darkness has filled all of space,
The thief of the skies begins his long chase.
Across dusky mountains, wide oceans and snows,
The thief of the skies sails over and goes
To the top of the tallest tower of souls
And down to the furthermost fire-filled holes.
There, the thief of the skies breaks out into song,
And he’ll sing in tune to the trees all along
The grassy hills that on each side align
The banks of the fabled river of time."
