A Thousand Walks is a collection of poetry and haibun with nature as a major theme. The poems take various forms including a few haiku and tanka. There are several award-winning haibun, which are a Japanese form of literature comprising prose interspersed with haiku-like poetry, and dealing with a journey, usually in, or about, nature.
