Science 1 by Lincoln Empowered™. In first grade science, students build on what they learned in kindergarten, revisiting some topics to explore them in more depth and detail. Students will continue making predictions and observations, experimenting, and developing scientific problem-solving skills. Foster your student’s joy for learning science by involving them in explorations of the natural world whenever possible. Talking about ways to communicate, changes on Earth, plants, animals, and insects will make science relevant to your student. Encourage your student to make sense of the world around them by looking for cause-and effect relationships and help them to understand relationships in the natural world.
