A genealogical book beginning with Thomas Harrwell (1606) who sailed to the new world on the ship Falcon on December 19, 1635 at age twenty-nine from the port of Gravesend, Kent County, England. The family surname seems to have changed to Harrell after they settled in Nansemond County, VA. The book includes fourteen generations down to the present. It also contains 135 pages of maps, a timeline, a gazetteer, wills, deeds, census records, tax lists, birth certificates, marriage records, death certificates and 357 pages of genealogical reports on 3,224 individuals.
