My husband, Hubert, and I were invited to Malans and Sargans, Switzerland, to celebrate our good friend Heinz Geiger's 50th birthday together with his Dutch wife, Annemieke, and their friends from a lifetime. A tour of an ancient Swiss town, a 300-year old wine press, dinner and breakfast in a castle nestled on a hilltop overlooking a seven-hundred-year-old village, live classical chamber music played by family and friends, and good company combined to make an unforgettable weekend.
