2 Years in a KH Virtual Castle, Vol. 1 (France, 1238)

While playing the game Knighthood on Facebook, this author encountered "memories" of a nearly forgotten castle in 13th century France. Slowly the Castell began to emerge, along with a host of characters, some fictitious, some real. (Eleanor d'Aquitaine, Richard Lion-Heart, even Charlemagne's ghost, haunt these castle halls.) Thus was documented the trials, joys, & tribulations of being a Liege -- along with local festivals & castle events. With frequent references to the history & culture of central Western Europe in the 1230's, the book lends a medieval perspective . . . to remind us of what has changed over the centuries - - and what has not.
