In The Kitchen of Ernie & Lois Tarnai, the tastes are quite eclectic. The reasons behind this include our different backgrounds, our inclinations to be adventurous where food is concerned, our rather extensive travels as well as our innate preferences. No single cookbook covers the many, varied dishes we describe in this book. As well, we are concerned that the traditional family recipes included here may become lost to future generations, which is the main rationale behind our creating this opus.
